SUNY Fredonia’s Advanced Leadership Development Program (ALDP) class is hosting a gala on Friday, Nov. 11 from 8 to 11:30 p.m. in the Dods Hall Multi-use Room to raise funds for the organization, Kindness Above Malice, which works to fight bullying. Advanced tickets required (by Oct. 28) for the dinner at 8 p.m., but anyone can attend the event at 9 p.m. to purchase a ticket for $5 to enjoy the rest of the evenings’ festivities.

The semi-formal event will include a dance, performances by campus a’capella groups, dinner, raffles, guest speakers and a balloon drop. Also, there will be a toast at 11:11 p.m. to make a wish for a better tomorrow.

Kindness Above Malice is dedicated to affirming students that have raised the self esteem of another person, thereby preventing the injury that results from bullying.
