Two members of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction faculty, Drs. Ana Maria Klein and Kathleen Magiera, had their fourth peer-reviewed article published on their partnership with Silver Creek Elementary School.

Their article, “Dealing with APPR: Living in Effective Land and Vacationing in Highly Effective Land,” appears in the New York State Mathematics Teachers’ Journal, a magazine that serves K-12 teachers as well as higher education faculty.
They will be presenting their work in March at the American Council of Rural Special Education Conference in Las Vegas. Support for their collaboration was provided by the Fredonia College of Education’s Office of Field Experiences.
