Registration is now open for Summer Sessions at SUNY Fredonia. More than 100 credit-bearing courses designed to meet graduate or undergraduate degree requirements are available to choose from, including study abroad.
Courses are offered in a wide range of subjects, including accounting, studio art, anthropology, business, biology, finance, marketing, public speaking, social media, web programming, computer science, statistics, criminal justice, education, literature, poetry, writing, first aid, climate, history, mathematics, music, philosophy, physics, political science, sociology, foreign language, sport management and theatre.

The schedule is divided into four options: a two-week May term, a ten-week Summer Extended term, and two terms of five weeks starting on May 23 or June 27. Online registration is available for Fredonia students. The last day to register online for May Term, Summer Extended, and Summer I is April 29. The last day for Summer II is June 10. Prospective students can register in person after those dates in the Registrar’s Office.
"Every summer, we have a nice mix of Fredonia students, visiting students from other colleges, and even some community members," Eric Skowronski, Director of Lifelong Learning and Special Programs, said.
Tuition (including fees) is typically $263.60 per credit hour at the undergraduate level for New York State residents, and $405.60 at the graduate level for New York State residents. Financial aid is available. Students interested in Summer Sessions are encouraged to contact the Financial Aid Office.
Housing is available on campus in addition to many of the services students typically enjoy during the academic year.
