The highly successful Freedonia Marxonia Film Festival and Symposium that first appeared on the Fredonia scene in the late 1980’s may be brought back, thanks to a generous gift from Fredonia alumnus Douglas Canham.
Mr. Canham, Class of 1987, helped create the original festival that ran for several years. Now he has provided a gift to SUNY Fredonia that will fund a paid internship for a business major who will work with senior staff in the spring of 2008 to develop a plan to bring the festival back in 2009.
