Professor Jeanette McVicker of the Department of English wrote an essay published in a special issue of the journal, Boundary 2, that assesses the legacy of the journal’s founder, Dr. William V. Spanos of SUNY Binghamton, who was Dr. McVicker’s dissertation director.
The article, "In the Neighborhood of Zero: Ontology and Pedagogy," is one of 12 essays by leading scholars, as well as former students who are now also teaching professionals, that appears in the February 2015 issue, Vol. 42, No. 1. Boundary 2 is an international journal of literature and culture published by Duke University Press.
