For their final projects, students in Dr. Jeff Iovannone's HONR 228: LGBTQ American History & Literature course are creating a web magazine, “LGBTQ American History for the People.”
Distributed through web-based publishing platform Medium, the magazine will feature short, accessible research-based articles on LGBTQ American history to educate and inform the average reader. The project encourages students to explore the concept of scholar-activism and connections between the classroom and the community.
The magazine will officially launch on Monday, April 24, and will be publicly available online.
