Fredonia has entered into a new study abroad and student exchange agreement with Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), located in Northern Cyprus. The agreement will allow SUNY students to study for 1 to 2 semesters in Northern Cyprus and EMU students to study for 1 to 2 semesters at Fredonia.
Eastern Mediterranean University offers students from a large variety of academic disciplines to study abroad at a university that teaches entirely in English. Among its many academic programs, EMU offers course work in Arts, Business, Communication, Natural Sciences, Computer Science, Health Sciences and Services, Social Science, Humanities, and Turkish Language. In addition to its impressive academic programs, EMU is home to students from more than 100 countries and offers a number of cultural excursions and celebrations throughout the academic year.
The Fredonia Office of International Education anticipates that students may begin participating in the program starting in Spring 2017. Students can learn how to apply and receive more information about the program through the Office of International Education at international.education@fredonia.edu.
