Professors and students will give talks on Graphic Novels in the Japanese Garden Area of Reed Library on Wednesday, May 5, at 5:30 p.m. This is coinciding with a donation of 18 books from the Comic Culture Forum that was made possible by the Student Association.
The list of speakers are:
- Prof. Jill Johnston-Price, Animation and Illustration Profesor.
- Dr. Bruce Simon, English Professor. Comic Culture of the 1980s.
- Michael Braxton, Graduate Student who is using Graphic Literature in an educational setting.
- Jennifer Albert, Undergrad who created her own Graphic Novel for her senior Women Studies Project.
- Dr. Shannon McRae, English Professor. Mythology of Graphic Literature
