presidential searchThe SUNY Fredonia Presidential Search Committee has selected its semi-finalists from an initial pool of more than 50 applicants.

The 15-member committee met on Monday, Dec. 19 and reviewed all the applications, which Committee Chair Frank Pagano described as very strong.

“I was very pleased with the quality we’ve seen among the pool of applicants, and equally proud of the work our committee is doing,” Mr. Pagano said. “They have been thorough in their review, which is especially valuable as we are faced with the difficult task of reducing this impressive field to the very best. Further segmenting of this group to our finalists will no doubt be even more challenging, but we look forward to that next step.”

The semi-finalists, whose identity will be kept confidential, will be interviewed sometime in January at a date and location to be determined. The committee remains on target to reach its initial goal of providing the SUNY Chancellor with their recommendations by mid February.

Applications may still be submitted until the search is completed and the position is filled. Go to search website>>
