The student organized group, Project Identity, will present a program on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m. in Fenton Hall Room 105.

It is a group that is focused on telling the personal stories of students at Fredonia in a theatrical manner (i.e., dialogues, monologues, songs). The project was started in order to create diversity awareness, identity exploration, and community outreach, and uses theatre and the arts as a tool in which both the audience and the participants can reflect upon their nature and reality, the goodness in one another, the imperfections everyone is capable of carrying, and the steps to create change.

Students participating include: Jakera Cooper, Rochester, N.Y., Psychology, senior; Daniela Rodriguez, Long Island, English, senior; Anthony Mercedes, Bronx, Public Relations, senior; Courtney Loiacono, St. James, English and Women's and Gender Studies, senior; Skyler Rutkowski, Buffalo, International Studies and Philosophy, junior; Julian Caulfield, Northport, Theatrical Production and Design, senior; and Cedric Wilson, Long Island, Sound Recording Technology, senior.

The event is free, but tickets are required and available at the Fredonia Ticket Office in the Williams Center. The campus and community is invited to attend. The event is being organized by the Center for Multicultural Affairs and the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
