Rachel Painter, a senior from Olean majoring in Business Administration – Marketing with a minor in Leadership Studies, has been chosen as the November Student of the Month by the Office of Residence Life.
School of Business Assistant Professor Susan McNamara, Ms. Painter’s internship coordinator, nominated Painter for the award.
Painter is very involved on the campus as the chief operating officer of Fredonia Enactus, a member of Intramural sports and a Campus Life student manager.
Future plans for Painter call for relocating to Buffalo to work in the Management Development Program at GEICO. “I interned there this summer and had the opportunity to work with management daily. I'm looking forward to meeting new people, living in a new city and expanding my insurance knowledge,” she said.
