Dr. Richard Robinson of the School of Business has had an article published in the February 2016 issue of the Journal of Business Ethics, “Duty and Boycotts: A Kantian Analysis.” The article explores the societal benefits of competitive markets, focusing on why some boycotts succeed while others fail and also talks about how the “invisible hand” of competitive markets can influence society ethics in regards to business.

The Journal of Business Ethics publishes original works from a wide variety of disciplinary perspectives related to business ethics. The journal aims to improve the human condition by encouraging discussion and debate in relation to the ethical issues which shape business environments.
