In his final Blue Devil Invitational, senior Rafael Santiago (Middletown/Middletown) closed out the three day event winning both the 1-meter and 3-meter dive, just ahead of teammate and 2015 NCAA qualifier Arron Carlson (LeRoy/Notre Dame).

Santiago's score of 523.80 was just better than Carlson's 518.30, as was his 1-meter of score 492.00 to Carlson's487.25. Santiago's 3-meter performance was a national qualifying score.

The Fredonia men's team closed out the invitational in third place with 602.5 points, while the women finished fifth with 387 points. Wheeling Jesuit won the event for the men (725), and John Carroll for the women (697).

Meghan Bartlett (Johnstown, N.Y./Johnstown) stood out again as well, winning both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards with scores of 427.25 and 445.20, respectively. Both were improvements from last year's Blue Devil Invitational.

Will Baker (East Amherst, N.Y./Williamsville North) took third in the 200-yard freestyle (1:45.87), while Adam Clouthier was sixth in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:15.09). Bill Bradley (Dunkirk/Dunkirk) took fifth (53.81) and Troy Lubanski sixth (54.41) in the 100-yard butterfly. Bradley and Lubanski were also part of the 200-yard medley relay team that finished fifth along with Jake Favret (Watertown/Watertown) and Liam Jones (Buffalo/ Kenmore East)

Sam Rokos (Delanson/Duanesburg), who broke Fredonia's school record in the 200-yard individual medley on Friday, finished sixth in the 200-yard freestyle on Sunday (1:59.66). Danielle Dembrow (Lockport /Lockport) and Lauren Goeing (Clarence/Clarence) finished seventh (2:34.61) and eighth (2:37.93) in the 200-yard breaststoke, respectively.
