The annual State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) Campaign has begun. The campaign total goal is $45,000.
The SEFA committee is seeking full participation from all employees. The deadline for participation to be eligible for the prize drawing on Dec. 3 is Nov. 20. Organizers are also giving away two $100 Faculty Student Association allocations in a drawing of the highest participating departments in the campaign. There is a link to the online pledge form.
SEFA is the single combined campaign for employees of New York State, providing funds year-round to support health and human service agencies who aid people of all ages and backgrounds in our region and statewide. It works in junction with the United Way, aiding those in need.
The Solicitors Brunch was held Oct. 1 and the Maintenance and Custodial Kickoffs will be held Thursday, Oct. 8. Donations can be directed to an agency or to a general fund to be spread among the different agencies that most need the assistance.
