The annual State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) Campaign at Fredonia has begun, with a campaign total goal of $47,000.
The SEFA committee is seeking full participation from all employees. The deadline to be eligible for the campus prize drawing for donors is Friday, Nov. 18. The organizers are also giving away two $100 Faculty Student Association allocations in a drawing for the highest participating departments in the campaign.
SEFA is the single combined campaign for employees of New York State, providing funds year-round to support health and human service agencies who aid people of all ages and backgrounds in the region and statewide. It works in junction with the United Way, aiding those in need.
The Solicitors Brunch will be held Sept. 22 at the Alumni House at 9 a.m., and the Maintenance and Custodial kickoffs will be held Friday, Oct. 14. Donations can be directed to an agency or to a general fund to be spread among the different agencies that most need the assistance.
