The seventh annual Slush Rush 5K had a record year, with over $2,300 raised and the highest number of registered participants. The race, which was held on Sunday, March 29, drew in 184 registered runners and walkers.

The money raised by the event will benefit the Xylia Peterson '85 Memorial Fund in the Fredonia College Foundation, a scholarship fund for international students established in Mrs. Peterson’s memory. She was an alumna and former international student at Fredonia.

The Office of International Education is pleased with the turnout, and would like to thank participants, volunteers, donors, and sponsors.

The eighth annual Slush Rush is set for March 13, 2016. More details will be released by the Office of International Education in the fall.
