Sierra Cuellar, a freshman Theater Arts major and 2012 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School, was the production intern at the Lucy Desi Center in Jamestown, N.Y., over the summer.
She helped produce and promote many of the events for the Lucy Comedy Fest, and was given the opportunity to meet many famous comedy stars such as Paula Poundstone and Gregg Oppenheimer, son of the main writer of " Love Lucy."
Cuellar also taught a college comedy class to "Love Lucy" fans, and performed with the Drama Enrichment Program in Jamestown, N.Y. There, Broadway stars Jan Horvath and Keith Buterbaugh, who played the Phantom and Christine in "Phantom of the Opera" in the '80’s, were her teachers for three weeks.
