Beginning today, a series of Welcome Week activities will be hosted in honor of the new semester, open to all SUNY Fredonia students.
Monday at 7 p.m., “Celebrity Bingo” will take place in the Williams Center, with over $250 in prizes for lucky students.
Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m., students are invited to share their talents at the Open Mic Night in the Spot. A sign-up sheet is available beginning at 6 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. is “Make Your Own CD” night in the Williams Center.
Thursday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. features a Trivia Game Show in the Williams Center and more than $200 in winnings.
Friday, Jan. 28, catch dinner and a movie. Students with meal plans may sign up in the residence halls for dinner in the Horizon Room, and “Where the Wild Things Are,” which is open to everyone, starts at 9 p.m. in the Williams Center.
All events are free and sponsored by the Spectrum Entertainment Board, Campus Life and Student Affairs.
Next week, on Wednesday, Feb. 3, the popular Activities Night will be held in the Williams Center. Students are welcomed to browse the tables of over 130 clubs and organizations.
