Kanard Lewis, a junior Audio/Radio Production major, will deliver a motivational speech, “Our Purpose,” sponsored by the Leadership Program, on Thursday, April 27, from 5 to 6 p.m., in McEwen Hall Room 209.
Through his talks, which Mr. Lewis frames as TKW: The Kanard Way, he feels people are motivated to make the change in themselves for the better. His goal is to spread joy and happiness by preaching the phrase: “do you, do what you think is right.” He addresses how people view themselves not only as human beings, but as providers to society, and also looks at not only one’s true purpose in life, but how one’s perceptions of life really add to what one does for others.
The talk is free and open to the public.
