The Fredonia club sponsored two events, a Veterans Day 5K, and Stars and Strikes, which raised more than enough money to reach the group’s goal of sponsoring a dog.
Kelsey Lowery, a senior Biology major from Buffalo and president of the club, will present a $4,500 check to Chris Kreiger, co-founder of WNY Heroes, on Tuesday, May 9, at 11:30 a.m. in the Veterans Lounge in Nixon Hall. Ms. Lowery handled all logistics for the 5K and Stars and Strikes.
