The Residence Hall Association, is hosting FRED Balloon Day on Tuesday, Sept. 30 from noon to 3 p.m. The event is intended to “pump up” the campus community and spread a bit of joy and school pride through balloon art.
For the event, RHA will be teaming up with Balloons by Brittany with balloon artist and Fredonia student Brittany Georgalas. Georgalas and her team will be moving throughout the campus to distribute their balloon art to students, faculty and passersby at different locations including University Commons, Williams Center, Symphony Circle and the Science Center.
Those who receive a balloon figure are asked to continue spreading the message by utilizing social media platforms, posting pictures of the balloon art with the accompanying hashtag, #FREDballoonday.
