On April 21, 31 students and five faculty mentors attended the 2018 SUNY Undergraduate Research Conference at Monroe Community College in Henrietta.

The students made poster and oral presentations, and there was a dance performance, as well. The number of Fredonia students attending was among the highest of any SUNY school in Western New York.

Student presenters included: Emily Brown, Chelsi Lue, Benjamin Anderson, Hannah Wagner, Sade Hellams, James Walters, Sarah Zinni, Kathleen Hayes, Taylor Gibbo, Deztian Orsolits, Rachel Prikazsky, Giovanna Accordino, Emily Fox, Samantha Mazzalonga, Lillian Dixon, Matthew Evans, Alberto Gonzalez, Mackenzie Hardy, Connor Mauche, Rachel Arnold, Madeleine Heaton, Amy Rodriguez, Nick Certo, Jaime Birkmeyer, Kara Friese, Erin Lemmey, Robert Phillips, Felicia Ostrowski, Michael McTighe, Elayna Kinney and Ernesto Mercado Irizarry. Faculty mentors included Drs. McLoddy Kadyamsuma, Joseph McFall, Michael Clarkson-Hendrix, Jack Croxton and Darrin Rogers.
