The State University of New York Athletic Conference on Monday recognized two Fredonia Blue Devils as its divers of the week.
Ashleigh Reinhardt (Liverpool/Liverpool), a first year student, was chosen Women's Diver of the Week for the first time this season. She was second in the 1-meter with 352.40 points and second in the 3-meter with 327.65 during two days of diving at Trinity (Texas) University.
For the fourth time this season, sophomore Christian Krasnek (Springville/Griffith Institute) was cited as the Men's Diver of the Week. He recorded an NCAA zone qualifying score of 453.50 points to win the 3-meter competition at Trinity. He also finished second off the 1-meter board with 390.40 points.
The Blue Devils divers are under the guidance of first-year coach Lauren Schaefer.
