SUNY Fredonia’s Teacher Education Club will be holding its annual Children’s Fest on Saturday, April 17. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Masonic Lodge in Fredonia, during Fredonia Radio Station’s Rockin’ the Commons celebration, a benefit for the Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

The event is free and open to all children.

“Children will have the opportunity to participate in arts and crafts, as well as interactive games that demonstrate how learning can be fun,” says Daniel Figliole, president of the Teacher Education Club.

Members of the Teacher Education Club will organize and lead the crafts and activities for the children. George Brown, who created Children’s Fest in 1986, will be coming back to Fredonia to participate in the event.
