The Fredonia women's track and field teams competed at the Allegheny Gator Invitational on May 12. They saw three Blue Devil athletes take first place.
Sarah Couperus (Marion/Marion) won the high jump with personal best 1.68m (5'6'') and is tied for 7th in the nation. She edged out Mariah Harmon of Wheeling Jesuit by just 0.03 meters for the top height.
Brittany Feldman (Jamestown/Southwestern) won the 400 meter dash in 57.14 defeating a field of 12 runners from seven other schools.
Rachel Williams (Lockport/Lockport) was tops in the hammer throw at 46.82 meters. Williams also participated in the discus (eighth, 33.12 meters) and the shot put (third, 11.50 meters).
Kristen Sawyer (Lockport/Lockport) was ninth in the pole vault at 2.57 meters
