AAL-In Transport, a medical livery service designed to serve residents of Dunkirk, has begun operations as a client in the Fredonia Technology Incubator, 214 Central Ave., Dunkirk.

“I envision the service being an affordable way for Dunkirk residents to get to and from medical clinics,” said Matthew Cortes, AAL-In Transport co-founder.

AAL-In Transport is able to transport up to six passengers to appointments in Chautauqua County as well as other Western New York cities such as Buffalo, Jamestown and Rochester, and also to Erie, Pa. Services began on March 30.

Mr. Cortes and Timothy Walawender founded AAL-In Transport and became affiliate clients at the incubator in January. It is believed to be the first service of its kind in Chautauqua County offering transportation to doctor’s appointments, rehabilitation clinics, airports and other locations. AAL-In offers affordable payment options and accepts Medicaid and private insurance. Cortes is in the process of obtaining his Minority Business Enterprise Certification.
