Megan Valentine, associate director of Athletics and Recreation/Senior Woman Administrator, was recently selected for the Women in the Spotlight’s Brand Leadership Institute.
Through a new collaboration with the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA), Ms. Valentine was tabbed as the Division III representative for the institute. Other institute participants include: Deidre Merritt, associate director of Leadership Development, NCAA; Shauna Cobb, director of Academic and Membership Affairs, NCAA; and Jacqueline Nicholson, associate athletics director, Albany (Ga.) State University.
The Women in the Spotlight Program is "an elite leadership accelerator community. We exist to empower emerging and executive leaders with the essential skills and influential relationships to rise to new levels of impact and recognition." The mission of the program is "to actively shape the future of women, wellness and the workplace through an innovative development platform designed to address the pay, performance, and pipeline gap.
