“Unraveling the Riddle of Gravitation,” a talk by Jeffrey A. Secrest, associate professor of physics at Armstrong State University, Savannah, Ga., will be presented at the weekly Sigma Xi presentation on Friday, April 14, noon, in the Major Alice Sam Conference Room in the Science Center third floor.

Dr. Secrest, whose background lies in experimental particle physics, has contributed to large-scale experiments that include HALO and SNO+. Currently on sabbatical from Armstrong, Secrest is serving as a visiting scholar this semester at Fredonia. Secrest’s degrees -- B.S., M.S., M.A. and Ph.D. – are all in Physics.
