Assistant Professor Peter Tucker of the Department of Visual Arts and New Media received a $2,500 Artist in Community grant from the New York State Council on the Arts to fund a community-based art project. He also exhibited his work at "Pinnacle," a national juried exhibition at the Foster Tanner Art Gallery at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Fla.; "FIGMENT," a national juried exhibition on Governors Island in New York City; and at the 2013 Juried Art Competition, a national juried exhibition at the South Arkansas Arts Center in El Dorado, Ark.
He also has had four new pieces accepted into the upcoming, "Humor Me!," a national juried exhibition at the Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Arts Center in Dowell, Md.
