Juggler Mark Nizer has changed the way people view the world – the impossible is possible, the improbable is probable. Now, Nizer brings his world-famous juggling talents back to Rockefeller Arts Center at the State University of New York at Fredonia for a show that’s fun for children and adults alike.
“Expect the Impossible with Mark Nizer’s 3D Show” will take place Friday, Jan. 29 at 7 p.m. in Marvel Theatre. It is the next offering the Kaleidoscope Family Series sponsored by the Star Media Group.
Portions of the show will feature Nizer’s special 3D effects. All audience members will receive a pair of 3D glasses when they arrive at the theatre.
Nizer’s 20 years on stage have taken him to thousands of venues around the world, including the Kennedy Center, Disney Cruise Line’s Big Red Boat and the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. He earned rave reviews for his 2004 performance at Rockefeller Arts Center.
The combination of original comedy, world-class juggling, movement, music and technology make Nizer’s performance unique — whether it’s five ping pong balls being thrown 20 feet in the air using only his mouth or juggling a burning propane tank, a running electric carving knife and a 16-pound bowling ball all at once.
His invention, the Laser Diablo, merges juggling, light and technology to create an amazing visual experience ─ four Lasers juggled at 1000 RPMs with the spinning laser beams dancing just above the heads of audience members.
Nizer’s act has earned him numerous awards, including “Entertainer of the Year” from the Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities and first place at the International Juggling Championships. He has opened for performers ranging from Jerry Sienfeld to Bob Hope to the Temptations.
Expect the Impossible with Mark Nizer’s 3D Show is sponsored by Bahgat and Laurito-Bahgat, Certified Public Accountants, as part of the Lake Shore Savings Season.
