Professor of Computer and Information Sciences Junaid Zubairi delivered an invited talk on "IoT Applications and Security" and chaired a session on "Smart Cities and Microgrids" in the IEEE indexed 14th HONET-ICT International Conference held in Irbid, Jordan, on Oct. 9-11.
Dr. Zubairi discussed IoT applications in airports, healthcare, agriculture and smart cities. He also discussed his own work on IoT applications in transport management, mass disaster patient management and efficient municipal solid waste collection operations.
