Articulation Agreements and Dual Admissions Programs
Planning ahead is the best advice we can give prospective transfer students. Our transfer credit equivalency page is our primary advisement tool. This page allows you to see how your completed coursework will transfer. We recommend meeting with a Fredonia admissions counselor, so they can help you select appropriate transferable courses for any remaining semesters at your current school.
You can view Fredonia's entire database of institutions with Fredonia equivalent courses on the Course Transfer Equivalencies page. This page has many more institutions and courses than what is listed in the articulation agreements shown below and the database is consistently growing to include more courses and institutions.
All students graduating from a SUNY school with an AA/AS degree, are guaranteed junior standing and a minimum of 60 credits. We value our partnerships with our area community colleges and have established several departmental articulation agreements.
If an agreement is not listed, and you are a college advisor and would like to establish one with Fredonia, please contact our Transfer Student Services Office.
Agreements Under Review
Please note that the agreements below were developed on information through 2017. Based on revisions to our general education program in 2018, Fredonia Foundations, and our new transfer policy in 2021, these outdated agreements will be revised. Please refer to the college catalog for current degree requirements.

Dual Admission Agreements
In addition to departmental articulation agreements, we also offer joint admissions/2+2 programs. These programs allow students to apply and be admitted to both a community college and Fredonia at the time of your initial application.
