After graduating in 2019 with a B.A. in English Adolescence Education, Miranda accepted a teaching position in Queensbury, NY.
Fredonia’s English Adolescence Education program prepared me not only for the content I’d be teaching, but also how to navigate the teaching world as it is today. In my own classroom, I am constantly calling back lessons on reading and writing from Fredonia, but also lessons on classroom management, using technology in the classroom, and teaching empathy. I have a lot to learn and plenty of room to grow, but the professors and program at Fredonia set me up for success and gave me all of the tools I’ll need to continue to better myself as a teacher.
