About the Interfaith Coalition
This coalition provides a platform for people of different religious and spiritual beliefs to create a constructive and positive interaction to develop knowledge and respect for other religions. Promoting the understanding among various religions to increase acceptance of others is the primary goal of this coalition. This coalition provides interfaith education to the community members and to help improve the religious literacy in the region.
Goals
- Increase understanding of and respect for others from other backgrounds.
- Provide a global perspective to the local communities.
- Develop knowledge about other religions to eliminate personal biases and misunderstanding.
- Connect the community with students, faculty and staff.
- Utilize the community resources to assist the campus community.
- Pursue peace and justice in the world.
Programs:
Interfaith Conversation will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 4:30pm -
6:30pm in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room. RSVP for the conversation by November 1.
