SUNY Fredonia will receive sealed bids for project number 051037 titled Lanford Rehab Phase II – Exterior until 1:00 PM local time on November 5, 2024 at the Office of Facilities Planning, located at 140 Hendrix Hall on the SUNY Fredonia campus, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud in the conference room. If mailing a bid, please mail to: SUNY Fredonia, Office of Facilities Planning, 280 Central Avenue, Fredonia, NY 14063 (do not use 140 Hendrix Hall, as it may be delivered to the dormitory side of the building and delivery unnecessarily delayed).

2008 Wicks Reform - Subcontractor Information Form - Submit this form in a SEPARATELY SEALED ENVELOPE; Mark the front of the envelope with the name and address of the bidder, the Project Number & Title, and clearly indicate “Subcontractor Information”; Refer to the NYS Dept. of Labor Prevailing Wage Schedule for further information regarding the 2008 Wicks Law Reform requirements.
Wicks Law Requirements:
The prime bidder must submit with its bid a separate sealed list (the “2008 WICKS LAW REFORM SUBCONTRACTOR INFORMATION” Form SCI-1 – SCI-3) that names each subcontractor that the bidder will use to perform work on the contract, and the agreed-upon amount to be paid to each for the different trades. All non-awarded bidders’ sealed envelopes will be returned to them.
Any change of subcontractor(s) or agreed-upon amount(s) to be paid to each shall require the approval of the University, upon a showing presented to the University of a legitimate construction need for such change, which shall be open to public inspection. Legitimate construction need shall include, but not be limited to: (1) a change in project specifications, (2) a change in construction material costs, (3) a change to a subcontractor status as determined pursuant to paragraph (e) of subdivision two of section 222 of the labor law, or (4) the subcontractor has become otherwise unwilling, unable, or unavailable to perform the subcontract.
For contracts that do not involve any or all of the trade classifications listed on the form, complete and submit the form as indicated above and note “Not Applicable” (“N/A”) for the applicable trade(s). For contracts that do not involve any subcontracted work in these trades, identify each applicable trade(s) with “None”.
