Would you like to carve out some time in your schedule to begin a proposal or revise a manuscript? PDC faculty writing retreats invite faculty to join their fellow writers for one-day events held throughout the academic year, designed to hold participants accountable to their writing progress and goals. Enjoy a comfortable and quiet workspace, ample coffee, nourishing lunches, and the feedback and encouragement of colleagues. Each day will begin with a check-in on writing goals and will end by reviewing accomplishments and next steps.
What to expect:
Quiet time with a small group of colleagues who are immersed in their writing projects. Coffee, tea, water, lunch, and communal desk space will be provided. Please plan to provide your own laptop.
Dates: Week of January 9-13 (Specific dates to be determined by participants)
Time: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Location: Professional Development Center, 126 Reed Library (Participants may elect to work in the PDC or in the main library.)
