Mission:
The Liberty Partnerships Program (LPP) is a New York State initiative that aims to provide academic, social, and personal support to students who are at risk of dropping out of school. The program serves students in grades 5-12 who attend public schools in areas with high poverty rates or high numbers of students who are at risk of academic failure.
Services:
LPP offers a range of services, including tutoring, mentoring, counseling, career and college readiness workshops, and cultural enrichment activities. These services are designed to help students overcome the barriers that prevent them from succeeding academically and personally.
Participation:
Participation in LPP is important for eligible students because it provides them with the resources and support they need to achieve academic success and pursue their goals. The program can help students improve their grades, stay on track to graduate, and develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in college and careers. By participating in LPP, students can also gain access to valuable resources and opportunities that may not be available to them otherwise, such as scholarships, internships, and college visits. Ultimately, LPP can help students to unlock their full potential and achieve their dreams.
