Rich Ryan (Public Relations, ’04) is the Director of Development for the National Comedy Center in Jamestown, NY. The National Comedy Center is the first national-scope attraction dedicated to the celebration of comedy as an art form. It is a 37,000-sq. ft. interactive exhibit experience with over 75 exhibit components and archival pieces. Rich is responsible for conceptualizing and launching the Center's membership program, as well as building a $20 million operating endowment to support the long-term sustainability of the Center. Prior to joining this exciting project, Rich was a Development Associate at the State University of New York at Fredonia, where he was responsible for corporate and foundation relations, major gift development, and special events. Rich graduated in 2004 from the Public Relations program at Fredonia. He still resides in Fredonia with his wife, Katie (also a 2004 alumnus), and their daughters, Evelyn and Marilyn.
