Members of the Fredonia Potter's Co-op will conduct their annual pottery sale in time for holiday gift-giving, placing on sale to the public many beautiful items they have made while studying ceramic arts in the Visual Arts and New Media department.

The sale will take place Dec. 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Room 242 of Rockefeller Arts Center.

Since the Fredonia Potter's Co-op participates in the global, "Empty Bowls," effort, some of the artists are setting aside a selection of their items to raise money for The Friendly Kitchen in Dunkirk. "Empty Bowls" is a campaign designed by artists to help feed the hungry.

Members of the Fredonia Potters Co-op include SUNY Fredonia students and alumni. Professor Bryan Hopkins is teaching ceramics this year while Marvin Bjurlin is on sabbatical.
