Charles-Anthony Barbeau and Luke Morris led a repeat performance of Friday's 2-0 win over Plattsburgh, with Barbeau again making 32 saves, and Morris connecting for his second game-winning goal in as many nights in the Devils' 2-0 over Potsdam on Saturday.
Morris got the Devils on the board with a power play at the 13:16 mark with assists from Ryan Bailey and Sam Chrenka. Just 13 seconds later, Gavin Bloder made it 2-0 with assists from Dillon Schmidt and David Sudbrink.
The Blue Devils outshot Potsdam 45-32. Fredonia was 1-for-1 on the power play and the Bears were 0-for-2.
Lenny Perno finished with 43 saves for the Bears. They pulled Perno for an extra attacker with 42 seconds left in the third, but couldn't crack Fredonia State's defense.
Prior to the game, NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley was on hand for the ceremonial puck drop. The Devils celebrated Alumni Weekend and honored the 1993-94 team that played in the NCAA Championship game in the finest season in team history.
The Devils improve to 5-8 overall and 3-3 in the SUNYAC. Potsdam falls to 4-8 and 2-4 in the conference.
The Devils are off until January 10th when they play host to Brockport.
