Families of all SUNY Fredonia students are welcome to this year’s Family Weekend, taking place Friday, Oct. 26- Sunday, Oct. 28. There are numerous activities across campus for students and families to participate in. No registration is necessary this year, as families are welcome to come and participate at their own pace. Some weekend events include:
- Craig Karges, an award winning entertainer, nationally recognized speaker, and author preforming at Fredonia Opera House on Friday, Oct. 26 at 8 p.m. Tickets $10 in advance and $12 at the door. This event is sponsored by Spectrum Entertainment Board.
- The Invitational Scholars Breakfast, an annual fall tradition, will celebrate SUNY Fredonia's scholarship recipients and the generous donors and benefactors who made the scholarships possible. This year's breakfast will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 9 a.m. in the Steele Hall Field House.
- The SUNY Fredonia Department of Theatre and Dance will be preforming “Chicago.” The razzle-dazzle musical will take place at the Marvel Theatre on both Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are required for the show at $22.
- All events requiring tickets can be purchased online at https://www.fredonia.edu/tickets or by phone at 716-673-3501. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Fredonia Ticket Office, located in the Williams Center.
