One of Fredonia State women's basketball players was awarded with an All-SUNYAC recognition following the season. Forward Katie Pitcher was named to the All-Conference Second Team for her exceptional performance during the year.
Pitcher was a large reason for the Devils clinching the No. 6 seed and a quarterfinal matchup against Geneseo.
In this collegiate year, Pitcher started 20 out of 21 games and averaged 27.2 minutes per game.
During this time she tallied 267 points, or 12.7 points per game, on 43.7% shooting from the field. Both averages would lead her team, when calculating players who played over 9 games. Pitcher was also able to average 5.9 rebounds per game, 1.4 assists per game, and almost averaged a block and steal in each contest.
"Katie has been nothing but consistent since the day she became a Blue Devil," said coach Sarah Cartmill. "We're so proud of her for this well deserved recognition. Her and her classmates have left an indelible mark on this program and should know that any success we have, moving forward, will be theirs too."
