International Student Services will host its popular Bubble Tea fundraiser on Wednesday, April 9, to fund international student scholarships.

The event is slated from noon to 2 p.m. in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room. It’s free, with a suggested donation of $5, and is open to the public.

"I'm excited to join the event as it will allow me to get to connect with students on campus, especially with international students to discuss their backgrounds and experience here at Fredonia,” said Jacob Allen, a senior International Studies major from Coxsackie, NY.

A variety of tea types, boba pearls and syrups to flavor one’s bubble tea will be furnished. Guests can play numerous games, such as cornhole, Connect 4 and giant Jenga, while enjoying their tea.

"Through the fundraising effort of the Bubble Tea event, we can help support the international students on campus by providing stronger scholarships and making SUNY Fredonia more accessible," Mr. Allen added.
