Check to Red Cross presented after Haitian Relief Fund

Vince Horrigan (second from right), chief executive officer of the Southwestern New York chapter of the American Red Cross, receives a commemorative check totaling $3,308.63, from SUNY Fredonia to reflect campus donations raised to support Haiti relief efforts.

Money was raised by an all-campus talented show, hosted by Dinecia Pierre-Louis (second from left), an Educational Development Program counselor and native of Haiti; a School of Music concert organized by Dr. Robert Deemer (right), and SUNY Fredonia President Dennis Hefner (left), who issued a campus-wide appeal for donations.
