Last year, SUNY Fredonia raised over $4,000 for the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo and the Variety Kids Telethon during the Buffalo News Kids Day event.
This year, 24 student groups will hit the streets of Dunkirk and Fredonia between 6 and 9 a.m. on Tuesday, April 27 to sell the Buffalo News to support the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. Resident Director Daniel R. Goodwin is coordinating the Buffalo News Kids Day participation at Fredonia.
"Please help us in our attempt to raise money for this worthy cause by having your dollar ready as you drive to campus that day," Mr. Goodwin said. "Your support and the purchase of a paper will mean a lot to all our volunteers and the children of the hospital. Donations to the cause are also greatly appreciated."
