The work of photography Professor Liz Lee of the Department of Visual Arts and New  Media has been published in the new edition of “The Book of Alternative Photographic Processes,” by internationally acclaimed artist and photographer Christopher James.

Lee’s work from her Sun Print series appears on pages 614 and 738 in the book, which is considered the definitive text for students and professionals studying alternative photographic processes and the art of hand-made photographic image making.

The innovative third edition, consisting of 850 pages lavishly illustrated with 650 images, brings the medium up to date with new and historic processes that are integrated with the latest contemporary innovations, adaptations, techniques and art work. The first two editions, published in 2001 and 2009, received international critical acclaim.

James is director of the M.F.A. program in photography at Lesley University, Boston.
