Jon and Linda Nagle-Weiss

Jon and Linda Nagle-Weiss, the husband-and-wife team behind New Buffalo Shirt Factory, a world leader in screen printing and apparel decoration based in Western New York, will share their success stories and business experiences that include working with legendary rock performers and numerous professional sports teams, at SUNY Fredonia on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 6:15 p.m., at G24 McEwen.

Jon Weiss, owner/CEO of New Buffalo Shirt Factory, began working at the family business as a teenager and, through a strong work ethic and dedication, grew it into a global T-shirt empire. Linda Nagle-Weiss, who joined the company in 1982, serves as senior vice president/marketing and has over 25 years of corporate advertising and marketing experience. Their campus talk was arranged by SUNY Fredonia Music Business Professor Armand Petri.

Founded 50 years ago as a small cut-and-sew business by Jon’s grandparents (Sam and Belle Weiss), New Buffalo Shirt Factory today boasts nearly 250,000 square feet of domestic and overseas manufacturing space. The company is capable of finishing over 500,000 shirts a week. Its “New Buffalo Style” has won numerous national and international industry awards and is reflected in their work for leading music merchandisers that serve the Rolling Stones, Kiss, Garth Brooks, Barbra Streisand and others.

The program is free and open to all campus and community members.
