On Thursday, April 15, the SUNY Fredonia Park & Ride shuttle service hit a milestone by transporting its 20,000th passenger--Dr. Dave Herman, Vice President for Student Affairs, took Bus #3 on its Williams Center loop. He is shown at right, taking the bus.
"This has been a tremendous year in ridership so far this year. For all of last year we had 11,248 passengers," Soteris Tzitzis, Director of University Services, said.
Previous milestones:
The 15,000th passenger was a student, Katalin Gersonia, on February 26.
On December 2009, the 10,000th passenger was Idalia Torres, Computing Services.
All recipients received a $25 gift card to the University Bookstore.
