Representatives of the U.S. Postal Service will be on hand to help visitors at the Study Abroad Fair to renew or apply for new passports. The International Education center will host its annual Study Abroad Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 8 in the Multipurpose Room of the Williams Center from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Anyone needing passport services should bring an original birth certificate, two forms of I.D., and payment by cash or check.

The Study Abroad Fair event is open to any SUNY Fredonia students who are interested in studying abroad. Students will be able to ask questions of campus staff from the Department of International Education, gather information on prospective Study Abroad trips and talk with representatives from other SUNY-sponsored study abroad programs. Programs range from year-long exchanges, semester, J-Term and summer programs.

“Last year’s fair was very successful, with hundreds of students attending the fall event,” said Nicholas Mahoney, marketing coordinator for the International Education Center. “We have a wide variety of different programs that we offer in many different study areas. Some of our most popular destinations include England, Mexico and Australia.”

In addition to SUNY Fredonia, other schools will be attending the Williams Center event, including SUNY Oswego, University at Albany, Buffalo State College, Binghamton University, University at Buffalo, AIP Language Institute Valencia, (Spain Partner) and SUNY Brockport.
