Fredonia’s Senior Challenge Committee will kick off Fredonia’s first ever Senior Activities Week starting April 26 through May 7. There will be a wide variety of activities for the senior class leading up to Commencement. The event was created to celebrate the senior class, allowing them to look back on their time at Fredonia and create new memories before this particular chapter in their lives comes to an end.

Events are as follows:

  • Sunday, April 26, Sports Day, noon to 6 p.m., outdoor courts and fields outside of Steele and Dods halls. Come join your peers in playing tennis (bring your own rackets), basketball, ultimate frisbee and more.
  • Monday, April 27, Senior Breakfast, 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Cranston Marché. Get together with your friends that you haven't seen since your first year and have breakfast! This is a great opportunity to catch up and make new connections!
  • Tuesday, April 28, Discounted Lunch,11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Locations: TBD; Discounted Dinner, 5 to 8 p.m., Locations: TBD; Movie Screening, 8 p.m., Multipurpose Room, Williams Center, Movie: TBD.
  • Wednesday, April 29, Senior Bonfire and S’mores, 9 to 10:30 p.m.; Steele Hall area behind tennis courts.
  • Thursday, May 7, Senior Soirée, 7 to 11p.m., Multipurpose Room, Williams Center. Are you ready to have a good time at this formal Fredonia Ball? Finger foods, beverages, and music will be provided.
  • Friday, May 15, Commencement Rehearsal, 4 to 5 p.m.,Steele Hall Fieldhouse. Senior Class Picnic, 5 to 7 p.m., Williams Center Patio.
  • Saturday, May 16, Commencement Ceremonies, 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., Steele Hall Fieldhouse.

Admission to these events can be purchased in packages at the Fredonia Ticket Office; both include a Class of 2015 tote bag. Each event will be designated a certain color for a wristband to be worn. Admission for events cannot be sold separately. There is no charge for Commencement Rehearsal or for Commencement Ceremonies.

  • Blue Devil Package - $40 - Entrance to all events requiring admission fee (Sports Day, Senior Breakfast, Discounted Lunch, Discounted Dinner, Movie Screening, Senior Bonfire and Senior Soiree).
  • Fred Package - $25 - Entrance to four events of your choice (four of the above-named events).

All of the proceeds from Activities Week will be donated to the senior class gift: a 10' x 7' outdoor granite fountain to be placed in the courtyard adjacent to the Williams Center.
